Yep, It is on the platform area with also the Catalina/QAPS hangers, but then on the runway side, near the KLM aeroclub.

Not so uncommon to see this one outside. After its arrival I've seen it only once inside.

could it be that the uncommon part is that it is totally uncommon at this particular location? offering great photo opp. as a bonus.
Making it fly again with EHLE as its new jetfighter base, that's even more uncommon in the low countries.
I'd vote for SE-HLE of SE-FAB (Full After Burner)

It was still there totally unattended this afternoon when I left.
I guessed it was a nice excuse for a small detour for many on the way to Leeuwarden.
In speculation mode I also love to see the thing flying (of course), but military aircraft close to KLM tend to change colours, so there is also a nightmare scenario!

AFAIK the people from Flygvapnet have done everything in their power to prevent that from happening after it arrived at Lelystad (that is the reason why the official handover was not after the arrival but at the Fly-in a few months later, to allow them to make it unairworthy). Some of the nightmare painting scenario has already happened, so not too much to be scared about. Yesterday, that is April 18, the Viggen spent the day at his normal spot, next to the MiG 21 at Aviodrome. During the morning the cockpit was open for inspection, but there was nobody that was interested when my eyes were upon this machine.
