24/05/15

2 P3s noted earlier over the UK on their way to Keflavik from Sigonella

VVRD778 eta - serial on flight plan is 162778 - but hex code on sbs equates to 158222

VVRD293 eta - serial on flight plan is 163293 - but hex code on sbs equates to 161012

all 4 in use with VP47 according to http://www.p3orion.nl/

so MK1 eyeball confirmation required - if possible

Good evening Rubberneck.

The two P-3's came in to Keflavik (BIKF) on callsigns VVRD778 (AE1CFA ) and VVRD293(AE1D3E)
Sources, Live-ATC and My Receiver.

I got photos of with them and they have the following markings:
222 with RD on tail
012 with RD on tail
Source, a friend at BIKF

So I guess your Basestation DB is correct

The First 4 should of been Mazda 61 FLT. 5th A-10 had to RTB.
The Second 5 should of been Mazda 71 FLT.

1 of your missing A-10s is 165.
