Hello,
was driving the E85 from Bacau to Bucharest and noticed three stored Mi-8 helicopters along the road within the perimeters of a army barack location. The Hips can be seen at Google Earth (45.396516, 27.047772) as well. I did have a quikc look, but it appreared to me there were no serials on the helicopters anymore. I initially thought these were not Romanian but Hungarian (due to colorscheme). Anyone for the winning numbers, as Scramble database did not help me enough in this case. Google streetview by the way shows a 4th helicopter as well, although from above and by "eyeball Mk1"only three were still present today.
Best regards,
Maarten

Re: 3x Mi-8 Ramnicu Sarat unknown
All are ex Ianca storage. The location is in EMOOS 2014 under Ramnicu Sarat by the way. Apparently there has even been a fifth one in 2011, still visible on Google Earth if you go back in time.
