Re: Florennes (EBFS) 2014 MIL
When we went there friday we could spot 2x AB212, 2x EdlA Puma, 1x EC725, 2x W3 en 2x Mi24D from the hill near the torn down farm or shed (take the left at the Y-crossing (eastern approach) follow this road and stop at the highest point. The AMXs where not on the TLP ramp. Only 3x A109 could be seen there.Sleegertje wrote:Are the helicopters visible fro mthe outside??
note: i dont know if the choppers we could see in the early morning were towed out a hangar before we saw them, in other words; i dont know if they park those helicopters outside all weekend.

All visiting helicopters except the CH-53's flew between 11.30 and 14.00. AMX MM7178 and MM7183 participated.
Local F-16's FA-109 and FA-117 + 1
Overshoots and T&G by FA-110 and FB-23
Kind regards Hans van Zeeland

Re: Florennes (EBFS) 2014 MIL
Helos parked on the North Side (so all except the A109s) came in over the main runway. More or less.
AMX are parked in/among the shelters on South Side and taxied nicely towards beginning of the runway.
Bonne chance!

Re: Florennes (EBFS) 2014 MIL
Went today and all flew except 1 CH-53 (84+26) and 1 AMX (MM7182/51-62). We found the little chapel at 50°14'23.6"N 4°40'59.7"E (https://www.google.nl/maps/place/50%C2% ... !1s0x0:0x0) best to view the helicopters while parked. After the mission we didn't see the 3rd CH-53 outside so it could have been in the hangar, or maybe it has departed. The A109s came in using runway 26L but all others used 26R. Thanks to all who have provided info in this topic!

Re: Florennes (EBFS) 2014 MIL
As the exercise is coming to an end soon, would there still be any possibility to see them out flying this week (Wed - Thu)?

Re: Florennes (EBFS) 2014 MIL
According to sis summary it ends on sunday the 12th, so I think and also hope they'll depart on friday the 10th.
That day we want to go to Florennes so If someone can confirm this, should be nice.
