It's the abbreviated callsign for Liberty08. Probably an MC-12W. The callsign is shortened to be used in airtraffic control systems.

This is definitely a USAF MC-12W. I saw Liberty01 and 02 last weekend as such.

LBRTY 07 & 08 are still at Sigonella, arent they?
Regs are 09-0642 and 09-0644. Both arrived at LICZ yesterday.

The MC-12W (Beech King Air 350) Liberty aircraft is an intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft of the United States Air Force (USAF) acquired for Project Liberty. Project Liberty includes Operations Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Enduring Iraqi Freedom (OIF). OEF is the official name designated by the US government for its war in Afghanistan, while OIF is the official name for its war in Iraq. Noted early morning (10sep14) were MC-12W 09-0656, 09-0659, 09-0623, 09-0639
They were no longer here in the afternoon when 09-0642 and 09-0644 arrived (around 1600LT)
