I really hope someone can help, even if it is just one serial I woukd be a happy chap.
Regards,
Bradley

Mvg,
Re: Help on serials of stored planes at JNB
Dear Bradley,
The DC-4 in the last picture looks like ZS-AUB to me. Never been there but a few seconds of googling showed that that is the only Southafrican DC-4 with an orange tail.
The Connie in the first picture should be ZS-DVJ, again Google is your friend.
Furthermore I would suggest to:
- mention the airfield name and not just the code in your topic title (in accordance with the forum rules)
- post the pictures in a bigger size, 1024 width for example, it might give more clues to viewers.

Thank you verry much for your help.
I must admit that I should have found the two you found myself.
Point one: I wrote JNB since I thought Johannesburg is too long for the homepage but I'll write Johannesburg there since that isn't true.
Bigger pictures can be found here, but for some reason I can't post them here directly:

Mvg,
Re: Help on serials of stored planes at Johannesburg
For future reference number 4 is most probably C5-AEA as it is seen stored at JNB at 26/09/2006 and 19/03/2014

Mvg,
Re: Help on serials of stored planes at Johannesburg
The date of the photo's as well. Will help with a lot of the potentials.
Re: Help on serials of stored planes at Johannesburg
4 confirmed C5-AEA
5 ZS-VDB
7 A2-FMX
8 more than likely C5-AEB
9 ZS-PKV
10 ER-IAK (been there since 25/7/2014)
Will check 12, 13, 14 when I'm there again, haven't taken note of them for ages:-)

Re: Help on serials of stored planes at Johannesburg
Thank you so much!
I was there on the 24st of July and 11th of August in transit to Wimdhoek.
I suppose you mean the DC-10 as I was stupid enough to put 14 in that picture twice

Mvg,
Re: Help on serials of stored planes at Johannesburg
the yellow DC-9-32 should be D2-ERJ (ex Gemini), at least that's what it was when I saw it there in March.
The DC-10-10 should be S9-GAP
The DC-8 (#1) nose on undoubtedly is Series 63 ZS-PRD.
Thanks for the pics, as it enabled me to identify the Ghadames DC-9 (C5-AEB) myself
Cheers, P

Re: Help on serials of stored planes at Johannesburg
Thank you! My DB which I use for my registrations says that S9-GAP has become ZS-GAP, how likely is that?
