Re: Gap-Tallard LFNA/GAT 2014 MIL
A brief stop during our summer holiday was made on the day before the Tour de France started here (well, Gap town that is).
19-07-2014 (15:00-16:00lt)
730/CA DHC6-300 1ETA
(300)/F-RACE DHC6-300 1ETA (inside hangar)
891/MCE PC-6B2/H4 ETCM (inside hangar)
It seems that Gap is often used, maybe even a deployment base, for these fine and rare planes! None where in use today, but seem often to be used for (military) parajumpers.
Cheers,

Re: Gap-Tallard LFNA/GAT 2014 MIL
The DHC6 was parked inside a hangar at the former ALAT-area (East side) and I think this is out of bounds. Luckily the door was open. The Turbo Porter was in a closed hangar just North of the through road passing the Northern approach. The hangar had a logo of Pilatus on it which caught my attention luckily, otherwise I would have driven on. The verry friendly technicians here had no problem me taking pictures of it inside.
