Re: Karup Air Show 22 June 2014
Any more 'spare' foreign aircraft on base at the base that were hidden for the general public?
I know there should have been also a second Hornet from Finland...
Any serials?

Re: Karup Air Show 22 June 2014
In the museum compound accross the road (opposite the show entrance) was, besides the T-33 DT-905 and Meteor 44-491, also an F-100 fuselage on pallets, and wings standing against pallets. Bit strange though as wings are dark green while the fuselage appears to be bare metal (although mostly covered by cloth). This F-100 has a green nos/intake. Anyone a clue which one this is?

The F-100 is GT-870, see http://www.milfly.net/Polleke_NL wrote:In the museum compound accross the road (opposite the show entrance) was, besides the T-33 DT-905 and Meteor 44-491, also an F-100 fuselage on pallets, and wings standing against pallets. Re: Karup Air Show 22 June 2014
During the airshow on sunday at the helicopter flightline the left hangar door was open (behind the parked Fennec's) and saw a Merlin inside. Anyone for the number? And there were 2 Danish F-16's on the flightline. which 2?

Re: Karup Air Show 22 June 2014
Hi Steef,
the Merlins that flew late in the afternoon were 507, 517 (these two in the mass formation) and 519; the Merlin in the Jaeger-demo was 507, together with P-254 and P-288. P-288 was also one of 3 in the closing formation flyby. P-320 was the Fennec with the camera turret below the nose that flew police/traffic control duties most of the day.

Re: Karup Air Show 22 June 2014
I almost agree with Frank
507 and 517 constantly flew all day whenever two EH.101s took part in the show. The 519 flew alone. The 515 I only read once in the morning when it came in.
The 254, 288 and 339 flew in all the demos (although sometimes not all together). Everytime I read the observing Fennec it was the 275. The 320 I only read once, which was right before the F-16 9-ship came over. It landed near the tower, dropped some people and then crossed the runway low level to the helicopter ramp. I am pretty sure it was the 320 then, and not at any other point in time, because it was my last and I was looking for it all day.....

Hi Erwin,
Correct, the Fennec that landed near the tower and departed low level was indeed the P-320!
Best regards,
Arjan
