Hi All,

I am considering going to Karup for the airshow. Has anybody been there already? Is the public positioned on the south side of the runway? How far is the crowd line from the runway? Are the aircraft on static display surrounded by fences or cones and ropes? Generaly, is it a good airshow for taking photographs?

Public is on the south side not to far from the runway, it is a bit like Gilze.
Static aircraft are all surrounded by cones and ropes.

I will be in Germany during this weekend and thought about traveling up for the air show. When on the southside during the air show for the public are you shooting into the sun at all? I would love to catch the SU 27 this year.

Karup Update

Added to the airshow are:
- An2 Estonian AF (s)
- L39 Estonian AF (f)
- JAS39 Gripen Swedish AF (f)
- JAS39 Gripen Swedish AF (s)

The Ukraine AF (Su27 and IL76) or not longer on the list for Karup airshow.

Today we can add a very rare seen Estonian AF Robinson R44 helicopter (static) to that list.

Saw them the 23rd passing east from Schleswig-Jagel at 12.00LT to the south....
