May I suggest the new French test aircraft, Fokker 100 F-GPXL? Would love to catch that one "on home ground"..

The A-10s that are right now at Spangdahlem will leave on Monday 02-06-2014.
So you don't see them at Gilze-Rijen.

Ah, my sense of time left me, apparently.
I was thinking they would leave in July.
Too bad ......

The June 2nd departure date from the boys from Idaho was mentioned by the unit itself during a press visit to Spang attended by some lucky people (me not being one of them )

Could anybody tell me if they will have parking options on Thursday? One year a field was used.

Just curious: has the organization already tried to contact ACC in an attempt to arrange a fly-by of a BUFF or B-2 (since they will be at FFD when the airshow takes place)?

According to Mr. de Bruin, they have been working on that for a long time already through a lot of different channels (embassy, KLu HQ, USAFE, RIAT) source: a PMSquAdmin wrote:Just curious: has the organization already tried to contact ACC in an attempt to arrange a fly-by of a BUFF or B-2 (since they will be at FFD when the airshow takes place)?

Air force day 20/21 June 2014 RNLAF (luchtmachtdagen 2014)
The insiders are probably busy arranging things..... Also: the various air forces are very busy doing there prime objective these days. E-3, Da-20 and MiG-29 just might be busy with operational requirements, while the Danes, French, Greek, Spanish and Brits also have flying fun (airshows) going on.... It gets a bit thin. Having said that: there are also some exercises in the same timespan (Tiger meet, EATT, Anatolian Eagle, FWIT) so operations are taking a toll. Maybe a reason that there is no Orange lion but a regular grey viper this year...
Up to now the insiders have not let us down, so just be patient and keep the faith...
