Re: EU - Africa Summit Brussels April 2014
Will be visiting BRU from the 1st - 3rd April for the summit, does anyone know if the visiting delegations are likely to park their aircraft on the main aprons (presumably round about the Abelag area) or are there likely to be aircraft parking at Melsbroek?
Many Thanks,
Neil.

Abelag for parking . For good pics you may need a 4m high ladder !

I'm not even sure four metres is sufficient.Banter wrote:Abelag for parking . For good pics you may need a 4m high ladder !

Part of the Abelag apron is visible from the top (6th floor) of Parking 1.(400 mm tele minimum requested). Bus De Lijn is free between Brucargo and Passenger terminal.
Also partly visible from the West of the airport, again long distance.
When aircraft land on runway 25, excellent spotting location is the top of Parking 3.

Dear fokker, taking pictures at EBMB is quite impossible, at abelag you can take photos of the first few planes but yesterday it was impossible because of a road closure by Belgian Police

By memory:
Turkish gulfstream, Ugandese falcon and Gabonese 777, P4-CLA , N777AS and I think 1 or 2 more at Melsbroek along with Russian An-30
Rest is parked at Abelag from far left to the "DHL-row"
Best visible part from the raod was empty last night
Regards,
Joost
