At least one person made an awesome photo of it, I had a print of it somewhere but it must have been lost when I moved between countries.

The best shot I have seen from that belly landing was taken by 'old' Soesterberg spotter Erik Slechtenhorst, callsign 'Muis'. I have still that pictureErik_7Xi wrote:Speaking of Norwegians - does anyone has a photo of that Norwegian F-16 landing gear-up on its belly tank at Soesterberg?

If I'm not mistaken that pic even made it to the frontpage of Scramble the following month.

That should read 1992 instead of 1991 , I believe.....?pjotrtje wrote: Didn't these just visit one night, arriving on the 9th of June 1991 (c/s "I6953") and departing the 10th?
By the way , is this Topic limited to the Eighties or also open to pictures of the Nineties ? In that case the title needs a slight adjustment , I think...
This Norwegian Sea King visited in 1987 , so that is correct anyhow.
Best Regards ,

Thanks for sharing, very nice specimen! And actually quite understandable that the nose of a camo KLu F.27 could be mistaken for this T-39, at least at first glance.awacs wrote:Here's youre sabreliner and F27 guys.....but I seem to be a Canadian F18...but whatever!;-)

Norwegian Sea King 189 also visited on 12-06-1984 Soesterberg. This was when the Thunderbirds display team where there.
