The German Air Force will be holding its yearly Large Force Employment (LFE) Exercise at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho from October 1st, 2013 - October 16 2013
Mission Employment exercises will take place on,
ME-1 10/03/13
ME-2 10/07/13
ME-3 10/09/13
ME-4 10/11/13
ME-5 10/16/13
This years participants will include,
GAF FTC - GR1 Tornado
TRW 51 - GR1 Tornado
FBW 33 - GR4 Tornado
GFD - LJ-35 Jamkite - Jam Kite indeed!
NATO - E-3A AWACS
428th FS - F-15SG
409th TFS - CF-18
391st FS - F-15E
159th FS - F-15C
190th FS - A-10C
64th AGRS - F-16C/D
VAQ-136 - EA-18G
VMA-542 - AV-8B
If that´s not enough, there´s a WTI at Yuma (and El Centro?) also ongoing, anyone fancy a couple of days out West? And you can spot more "Jam Kites" at Miramar on Saturday!

On October 1st the Luftwaffe will change the names of these units to "Taktisches Luftwaffen Geschwader" (translated: "Tactical Airforce Wing").
