OTT 2013 Hahnweide (PICS)

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Hello,

Yesterday mr LMB and I visited Hahnweide for the Oldtimer Treffen 2013. It was a nice day (though hot) and the photo oppertunities are great. Here are some quick PS4 results. Hope you like them.

Great shots Drs. P!

Here is my take on two days of fun at the Oldtimer Fliegertreffen Hahnweide 2013.
All pics were made on the airfield, most of them on the eastern slope.
I have never enjoyed an airshow with all day backlight, but Hahnweide is an exeption:

On September 7th, the first showday took place.
We made the decision not to visit the Segelflugplatz (Glider Airfield) again.
Instead, we went to the hill on the south east side of the airfield. Here are some of the results:

Another must visit airfield then! Great shots here and to be honest, I didn't notice the backlight thing until you mentioned it :bthumb: Must have been the trees in the background.

Definately worth a visit Hans!
Hope to be there in 2015. I never did hunt fanatically for those relics, but Hahnweide proved me wrong.
Maybe now I'm inspired to visit Oshkosh in the coming years....
