But the Czechs have confirmed these cns as exported to Russia. So probably from Russian AF to Ukraine AF or isn't that a possibility??

The last four aircraft to "Russia" were delivered in December 1990 so deliveries had stopped when the Soviet Union ceased to exist on 26 December 1991. Therefore no aircraft were actually delivered to Russia. Those listed as the Baltic Bees aircraft were delivered in late 1988/early 1989.

Just a few questions:
- Did anyone perhaps had the opportunity to check the c/n's of the SU-27's of the Russian Knights??
- What squadron does the 04yl An-26 Ukrainian Air Force belong to??
- What are the registrations of the two L-29's and the G-2 Galeb??
- What is the real registration of the MiG-21 marked as 1978, which was stored near the press/spotter hangar??
Thanks!

Next to where the IL-28 was dumped was what looked to be two Mig-15's also dumped.
Can anybody confirm serials for these?
Thanks in advance.

That is what I mean as well. The "R" in USSR stood for Russia as well. So prabably 1988-1991 from Russian AF (USSR); from 1991 (formation of Ukraine) to somewhere in the 00s Ukraine AF.Paul van der Linden wrote:Hi,wamovements wrote:But the Czechs have confirmed these cns as exported to Russia. I don't want to get into a big argument about this, but I think you will find that the aircraft were originally delivered to a Soviet unit based in Ukraine, and were taken over by Ukraine when that country got independence. So they were first Soviet, then Ukrainian.

Re: Kecskeméti Repülőnap/Kecskemét Airshow 3/4 August 2013
Hi Rob,
Finally I found some time to compare our logs, here are my few additions:
JAS-39C 31 was also Parked on the flightline near QRA shelters
L-29 G-DELF is one of your L-29s (I have only seen one, are you sure there were two?)
G-2A YU-YAB
C-27J should be CSX62219/RS-50
there was one more Casa 101EB which didn't fly on saturday, this one had code 1, unfortunately I was not able to read the serial.
Regarding your Turkish stars serials, are you sure that 3049 and 3058 were both coded nr 8?
For the stored Mig-29's I can add the following serials: 06,10,11,19 (all Mig-29A) and 27, 2(8?) +1 (all Mig-29UB)
I need to recheck my pictures but I am pretty sure I saw at least 5 L-39's stored in that compound.
I saw the whole day MD500 R502 from Rendorseg flying / hovering, might this one be the same as your second MD500?
Furthermore for myself not too much of interest, but maybe for somebody else:
some kind of warbird wreck was in the hangar where the N1002 was in, I saw a tailboom of Mi-8T 10426 which was on display in a tent next to a cockpitsection of a MIG-21 which was on display outside that tent.
Hope it is of any help and if anybody can still fill in the few gaps, please help us out here!
Regards, Hilco

That reminds me of something:

I have 3049/8 flying and 3048/8 as spare on Saturday.
