W&R southern CZ, western Hungary

I can't find any up to date info for anything around the Czech Republic or western Hungary.

I'm working in Steyr in Austria for the summer and in my spare time I'd like to find the odd aircraft tucked away in strange places

I've been up to Prague/Pardubice, and anything south of Prague would be interesting, and around Brno which is another target...

At Hosin I found some abandoned Cmelaks, and an An2, and a MiG23(?) at Ceske Budojovice, but any info on anything else please?

At Pisek there are 5 (or 4?) Mi-2s and a L-29 all former Czech AF stored, close to road nr.20.
Can you please check the serials, as I was there May 8th and don't know if it were 4 or 5 Mi-2s.....

I cannot in anyway guarantee any completeness, but I have 51 locations in Czech Republic and 51 in Hungary on my site. Since these are primarily based on Google Earth images it only includes very few locations were planes are located inside and some locations might have changed already if the image is old.

There's a museum with limited opening hours at Vyskov, east of Brno.

For western Hungary, Nagyatád should have some kind of Museum/storage with some militairy beauties. I haven't been there, but I'm still planing...
And at Kaposújlak west of Kaposvár you can find a maintanance facillity for the An-2, Ka-26 and some more small types. You can expect some former SwedishAF Bulldogs as well. I've been there over a dozen of times and it was worth it every time.....if you like that stuff.
