EHRD 04-07-2013 MIL

Post by Stratofreighter »

As of late Wednesday evening Embraer VC-99B EMB-135BJ "2585" was parked up in front of the hangar directly south of "Erasmus Catering",
about 20 metres from the hangar-building,
with a Gulfstream between the Brazilian Air Force VC-99B and the hangar.

Even if there hadn't been (temporary?) fences/"bouwhekken" "airside" just north of the Jet Centre a photo showing the front would have been difficult.

Pictures from the Brandenburglaan directly adjacent to the "Uitzetcentrum" are possible, though.

As of 1600 hrs this Thursday-afternoon the Brazilian VC-99B was still at the very same spot as above, with no signs of her leaving anytime soon...

Taxiing to runway 24. ETD 1755 to GCLP probably fuel stop on their way to Brasil. Another fuel stop is necessary on Cape Verdi for example.

I doubt whether the 2nd stop is necessary. When KLM Cityhopper take delivery of their EMB190s only one stop is made between northern Brazil (e.g. Fotaleza or Recife) and mainland Europe...

It's a ERJ135 model, range 3200 km normal version, max range of a ERJ145 is 3700 km, this special one could have a range around 3700 km. Even with that range Brazil isn't reachable with one stop it seems to me.
