REQ: photography at Karlsruhe/baden-baden/baden-airpark

In the near future I would like to visit Baden-airpark. Does it provide good spots for photography
from the outside? Where do I need to be for the best opportunities? I am only interested in helicopters btw.

Arrecoos,

Photography at Baden-Baden is quite good.
Near the entrance of GAT is a gate from where you can take photo's of the helicopters near the maintenance of the DRF.

Then there is also Motorflug and the Polizei.
Here you need some luck. I've seen a Slovenian Bell and a Polish EC-135 here, but also driven many times by without any luck.
True this gate at this location you can also make good photos.
The Polizei is a bit more to the back so you'll need some extra mm's to get it in frame.

If you drive past the museum and keep going, there's a heli maintenance company, and normally there's something happening there...just checked and it's where Jan describes! There's also a school with a Hughes 269/300.
