Morning,

The A330 was bringing troops for an assault involving HMS Illustrious, HMS Bulwark and HNLMS Rotterdam off the River Tay in eastern Scotland. All ships departed the area yesterday 14th. They are now presumably joining up with the remainder of a huge fleet for exercise Joint Warrior which commences today.
For JW13-1 at Leuchars and the next two weeks are:
FN Rafales 13, 15, 19, 28, 32, 33 and 37 all mixed 11F and 12F. Though 37 is believed to be 17F currently unmarked.
FN Super Etendards 2, 17, 18, 31, 43, 55, 61 and 62. All 17F.
FN E-2C # 3, 166417 of 4F.
All arrived on 10/11 April.

Possibly unconnected BAe146 ZE707 arrived at Leuchars on 14th for 40 mins and departed southbound to somewhere warm.
Busy place.

Tues 16th April

No flying this morning due stormy conditions.
Fortunately we arrived just after 0900 when the aircraft were being moved
around.
Walking the fence line revealed an open hangar containing the the FAF
Rafales

We watched 3 S/Etandards get towed into the hangar, these were 43, 55 & 17

Shortly after 5 Rafales were towed out...13, 19, 28, 33 & 37 then the E2 was
hangared.

Just before we left around 1030 the Rafales were being hangared again and
another 3 S/Etandards were towed down and hangared...2, 18 & 62

Add to this were Typhoons coded EA, ED, EI, EK, EO, EQ, FI & FJ

A couple of shots here for anyone interested.

Morning,

Falcon 10 #129 did indeed arrive 10:27L and departed again 13:30L.
Hawkeye #3 also departed around 18:00L and headed back to France, seen by many with better visibility down south. At time of writing, unsure whether it returned in dark.
