Re: Ship with helicopters @ inland waterway - 2013 MIL
Ik zag net ook een berichtje voorbij komen dat de MS Vera ook door US Army gebruikt wordt en mogelijk heeft deze al een eerste lading heli's vervoerd.
Dus let op de Dynamica en de MS Vera.
Groetjes Rene

Re: Ship with helicopters @ inland waterway - 2013 MIL
MS Vera is nearby Leverkusen inbound NL, so indeed maybe delivered some heli's to Coleman. Dynamica is not shown on the marinetraffic website, maybe he is in dock somewhere? Dynamica was last spotted yesterday evening in Dusseldorf...
Re: Ship with helicopters @ inland waterway - 2013 MIL
Looking at their voyage history, both vessel (Dynamica & Vera) seem to operate on a 7 days roundtrip (give or take a few hours). This means we could expect the MS Vera to go upstream again from Antwerp on Fridayafternoon Feb-1st with her next load. The Dynamica should be expected to do so on Mondayafternoon/evening Feb-4th.
@Falcon,
I'm looking forward to you report of Coleman! Unfortunely my first opportunity would be Feb-16th to check this place out.

Well,
Apparently, the Vera did not have any helicopters on board the last time she made the trip. That doesn't mean she won't have the next time. We'll wait and see.
Cheers,
Marco

MS Dynamica now approaching Koblenz @ wednesday 12:45.
Remember showing it's position on the map depends on shorebased recievers that catch the AIS signal send by the ships transponder, similar to the SBS system in aircraft.
Cheers,
Perry
...keep tracking

I received some requests for the Apache serials; here are the pics so I can make no mistakes ;jreijmer wrote:Small correction (typo I guess). The 07-08035 is 07-08034. I've checked my photo's from this morning and what I've been able to read from my camera screen all Apaches are correct.SG Woensdrecht wrote:Seen at the lock of Schorre near Hansweert onboard MS Dynamica:

That could be a nice score coming weekend. Also Ramstein is becoming busy with US Army choppers now!!falcon wrote:next sunday afternoon/evening we will report in the coleman topic!, lets hope all choppers from antwerp are already at Coleman then!@Falcon,

Some rumours are that they going to bring new UH-60M's to RS. We will see what happens coming day's/weeks.

The Vera is heading for Rotterdam, so not going to Antwerpen at the moment. Maybe after unloading in Rotterdam?

Hi,
Thanks to some dutch fellow spotters: 16(!) helicopters were offloaded today: 12 AH-64s and 4 CH-47s. There were already 16 at Coleman, only few could be seen....
Regards,
Oz

Why could only a few be seen at Coleman?
Too far away to ID?
Or hangared?
Or ...
What exactly was seen at Coleman?
Any ID's of the 16 offloaded and the ones at Coleman?

Re: Ship with helicopters @ inland waterway - 2013 MIL
Guys, relax.....
16 were the ones that were dropped of apparently by the Dynamica (yes, there were AH-64s below deck). Of these 16, 8 Appaches were moved to Coleman.
This appeared to be the second load of helicopters, the first was a week ago, with those 16 all at Coleman at the moment.
No serials at the moment, as I got this info via text messages and calls from Dutch guys presently there. I'm sure these guys will upload log later (today or in next few days).
Regard,
Oscar

Mmmm. So also below deck.... That's the first time I've seen that (or better, didn't see that). 48 - 16 -16 is still 16 left. So the last load would be 8 Apaches above and 8 below deck.Arjan wrote:So...only 8 left in Antwerpen?
