Re: EBBR/EBMB 22-11-2012 MIL
that's the problem with the Belgian database: no unity.
one number with hyphen, the other without!
any plans to update the Belgian list?

Actually there is, all Belgium military airplanes are without hyphen. Only exception is the A330, CS-TMT (as this one is civil).rené wrote:that's the problem with the Belgian database: no unity.

Through out the years the BAF has changed their serial appearance various times, to keep unity the hyphen is kept out.

well, if you search the web you'll find the contrary:
http://www.belgian-wings.be/Webpages/Na ... _today.htm
or this one with large pics:
http://www.belgian-wings.be/webpages/na ... %2013.html
all aircraft read off at Brussels had a hyphen in the tailnumber!

I refered to the Scramble standard, that is all military types without hyphen without the leased A330.W&R wrote:A number of current Belgium aircraft have a hyphen, like the F-16sActually there is, all Belgium military airplanes are without hyphen. It's true that various types do carry the hyphen on their tail, however it is still not united to all types wearing the same style so that prevents a change in the database.

Hi,
I believe Fouga's have been seen with
MT-3
MT-03
MT03
so some variation.
I understand that for a database presenting everything the same wthout or with a hyphen is easier.
There are many variations in other airforces too.
But I think this is now ''t Praethuys' talk
