Re: The 'black' USAF C-32Bs
a potential new C32B is N611AM, however there seems to be some problems with this one.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/79988143@N02/8445150731/ show N611AM stored at Roswell July 2011.
http://registry.faa.gov/aircraftinquiry ... txt=N611AM shows N611AM as registered to L3 L-3 COMMUNICATIONS ADVANCED AVIATION LLC as per 11sep2012, site like planespottters.net and B757.info show it as stored Roswell April 2012 and stored Greenville Texas August 2012. So far OK.
But N611AM is still active with American Airlines, pictures on the net show it active in full colours during 2010, and 2012 , see for instance : http://www.airliners.net/photo/American ... 6c36bebc9a
So it seems to me there are at least two N611AM B757's, one registered to L3 and stored , and another one flying around with AAL as late as mar2012.
Anyone who can tell me more about this one?? am i missing something here, or are they trying to fool us?
Why did they cover the AA logo at Roswell, and painted the lower cheatline (standard in red) in a dark-blue paint.

Re: The 'black' USAF C-32Bs
It might just be that the date stamps on airliners.net are not correct. FAA register can't really have two aircraft with the same registration at the same time I think.AK01 wrote:

Re: The 'black' USAF C-32Bs
I have never seen or logged N611AM for L-3,i think it was replaced by N903TB which was registered NOV 2013 to L-3 Communications Advanced Aviation LLC.I frequently see 02-5001,00-9001,02-4452 from the Air Force side and usually see N226G from L-3.Looks like 903TB maybe getting outfitted now with its equipment, last flight 6 weeks ago from Billings,Montana to Majors Field Greenville,TX.
