EMOOS states that this can be seen from outside, it does not look easy on Google earth, can anyone offer some directions?
Many thanks,
Tim.

I live closeby and as far as I know, it near impossible to see it from outside. It's SchaarsbErgen, btw.
Answers will be questioned.....

I agree, unless you rent a plane I think it would be impossible to see from outside.

Re: F-84 Schaarsbergen.
Hello Tim,
Easiest way to log the aircraft is to visit the "Historische Verzameling Regiment van Heutz", the RF-84F is parked in front of their buildings.
Admission free, opened every Thursday except when Thursday is a national day off (Ascension day, Queens birth day etc.). Passport needed !
They do have a website, by the way.
Secondly I read once in a Scamble a description how to see the aircraft from outside the fence, should a a 20 minute walk along the east-side of the barracks. Coordinates were included in the description as well. But never tried it myself.......
regards,
Remco

Re: F-84 Schaarsburgen.
Not sure if it was moved but when I visited Schaarsbergen last month during the 'Gehuld in legergroen op de Veluwe' event it wasn't situated near the museum at all. During this event one could easily walk to the area the RF-84F is preserved in but not so sure during normal operational days. (And I don't think it can be seen from the museum area)
