Also two unknown fuselages were noted marked as HBLN096 and 097. Anyone who knows what these markings stand for??

OD9? There are 5 PC-7's on order serialed OD1-5. So I guess your 9 is a mispole and should be the OD-3?Skunk wrote:On 07-09-2012 on the platform:

Eeeeeehhh, that's a big error then......
I was pretty sure that i saw a 9. Twice! But as the serials were taped over with a cross it could be that the 3 looks like a 9.
If they only ordered 5...... Then it should be OD3.
Thanks for the correction!!

By the end of August PC.7 "P-101" was noted. Judging by coulours and roundels it might the first one for Indian Air Force.
Furthermore fuselages cn 5100 and 5200 were noted. Any suggestions on that?
Jeroen, you saw them as well?

No, I only saw 2 Botswana's (it was Saturday). The way I saw one was very curious, but that is a long story.... The first Indian should fly in September with the first 6 being delivered early 2013. I'll keep an eye out for the fuselage c/ns and I'll give you an update.Ecm wrote:By the end of August PC.7 "P-101" was noted. Does 693 correspond with P104, or were you unable to read '693' clearly?K2G wrote:Noted 26sep12

693 was on a paper on some shelfes in front of this aircraft.Ecm wrote:Does 693 correspond with P104, or were you unable to read '693' clearly?K2G wrote:Noted 26sep12

Thanks.
The last BotswanaDF PC7 MkII OD5 is reported as 689, so it possible
that the first IndianAF P101 starts with c/n 690...........

Great to see the first Indian aircraft turning up.
Were they already painted in full colourscheme?
I did not expect they would use "short" serials.
Looking forward to see photos.

Hans van Herk
