Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Hello,
i visited the "wereldhavendagen" this morning. Visibility wasn't very good with a lot of hazy clouds, so all in all very challenging conditions.

Hi Marcel,
Nice photo's. Tomorrow I also want to go to Rotterdam for the World Harbour days, do you know if there are also demonstrations with these Navy choppers tomorrow and where and at which time, the demonstrations are with the NH90 and Lynx. I want to see especially the Lynx in action, because it is the last one that is flying. Is it also possible to go to the spot where the NH90 and Lynx are landing? I already looked at the website of the http://www.wereldhavendagen.nl/ but cant find the information about the display schedule of those helicopters.
Bye Werner

Hi Werner,
You should have looked better, cause all the information is on this site and on http://www.wereldhavendagen.nl/?page=demonstraties. And go to http://www.wereldhavendagen.nl and take a look at the little map 'Kadeprogramma' to find the right spot in the harbour near the bridge.
The helicopters will take off and land at Rotterdam airport. Check this forum for all the information you need.
Enjoy
(I hope I will)

Does anyone know the function of the blue cove rin the tail, only present in the morning. Never noticed it before.

Some (of the 555 photos I took) from this day. According to the speaker this was the very last (public?) demo of a Lynx. That's sad, but I must admit the NH90 is wonderful looking helo.
