Re: SPAR Callsign blocks
Some aircraft use static callsigns on a regular basis, but not always:
310Th As SPAR 28 01-0028,SPAR 29 01-0029,SPAR 30 01-0030
65Th As SPAR 55 C-40B 01-0015,SPAR 65 C-37A 01-0065
457Th As.458Th As,200 As,311Th As,118Th As,172Nd As,177Th As C-21A Typically use 3 digit callsigns assigned by TACC, otherwise they use their squadron static callsigns.

Re: SPAR Callsign blocks
Many thanks for your reply.
Yes have noticed the static callsigns often used. Even 375 AMW (457 & 458 AS) use static callsigns this year on some flights.
However my interested in really in the callsign blocks for each unit i.e.
932AW using the very low SPAR numbers 01 to possible 23
6AW using the next block up
86AW using the next block of callsigns
and so on
with of course 375AMW using the high SPAR numbers
any others info on this piltonman6012???
anyone else got any thoughts on this matter, or extra info on the callsign blocks used by different unit?????

Spar89 is most of the time a C-12 on a transit flight from Conus to the middle east or the other way.Robin wrote:Many thanks for your reply.

Re: SPAR Callsign blocks
Many thanks re info on SPAR89 wondered what it was up to, presume SPAR90 is the spare callsign????
Thanks Razor23.
Yes I agree in most parts think you will find that 375AW, with its Detachments at various airfields callsigns go up to 999, but even this unit still often uses squadron static callsigns, when TACC issues no assign flt number.
Curious about the Callsign SPAR 01 to 09, have some theories????
Also after full callsign "SPAR" block for 15thAW/65 AS operating out of Hickam AFB, Hawaii ??????
Thanks Razor23.

Re: SPAR Callsign blocks
This callsign may have been superceded by Titus 89,as heard on the last 2 Far East Embassy C-12 deliveries.Eric van Lisdonk wrote:Spar89 is most of the time a C-12 on a transit flight from Conus to the middle east or the other way.Robin wrote:Many thanks for your reply.

They use Spar 55 for the C40 01-0015 and Spar 65 for the C37A 01-0065.Robin wrote: Also after full callsign "SPAR" block for 15thAW/65 AS operating out of Hickam AFB, Hawaii ??????
