Mirage 2000s, long time ago
In april 1999 I spotted several Mirages on the productionline in Bordeaux. Two of them were marked as Mirage 2000N with constructionnumbers 296 and 303.
What is the tie-up with the currect serialnumbers?
TIA,
Lesley

Hi Lesley,
Mirage 2000C with c/n 296 is 67/116-MH flying with GC01.002 at Luxeuil-St. Sauveur. The other one is not known by me so far.
Hope this helps.

Problem is that c/n 296, indeed Mirage 2000C 67, was delivered long before April 1999......

And, indeed, as Lesley states in the original post: he saw aircraft marked M2000N, not -C... The difference (dual vs single) being fairly obvious, I would think...

Frank,
That is true. My conclusion is therefore that Lesley did not see c/ns 297 and 303!

Hello Andy,
It's true, 297 I didn't see , but the 296 and 303 were there. Cross checked it with one of the others which were on that visit. Although after crosschecking only the 303 was marked as 2000N.
They were not painted at that moment, just the type and c/n on them, and some other nice F-1s and 2000s

Including two Mirage 2000CJ for the Royal Jordanian Air Force.... which eventually never were delivered as the contract was cancelled.....11E wrote:Hello Andy,

Ha Rico,
You was there also, it is so long ago, I didn't know who was there at that moment. Alzheimer?

Lesley

Hi dudes,
I remember that Chris told me once that he and a few others had a great visit at Bordeaux, but could it be that it was April 1989? Or was that another one?
Grt,
Nilson
