Great shot, everytime again it is amazing how the telelens effect reduces the perceived distance. If I am correct the 4 red cranes in the second shot are the ones at the construction site of the Rotterdam at the Wilheminakade. Distance (as the crow flies) between centerline rwy 24 and the Wilhelminakade is approx. 6,5 kms.

Good stuff! Especially the first one. I love the compression of long lenses when there is no heat haze!
