This is a big blow to the FOSA. I just checked their website (www.fosa.fr) and it indicates that 80% of their budget is generated by the airshows.
Now they loose all this due to the typical (French) bureaucracy. Very sad indeed.

Ok, thanks! But a flying Qatari Mirage 2000N cannot be correct ( I think you mean 2000-5). Let hope it's true!

Don't think so. I thought about the same with Mont-de-Marsan during my holiday, and i was very pleased about the activities during the Open House. You can't compare it with an International airshow, but if you like to see French Forces Stuff, it will be a very nice national event!!

It's a bit off topic but this happened at Mont-de-Marsan:
offical program started at 1400lt., gates openend at 1000lt. when the first local aircraft went airborne. they flew 2 times till 1400lt.; 1x Alpha Jet, 2x F1, 2x M2000-5F, 1x M2000D, 4x Rafale

During the offical program: 2 times Ramex Delta (2x M2000D), PdF, Tigre display, Caracal display, KC135 "demo" refuelling (afterwards acft arrived for static), the same with the E3F Awacs, C160 was planned for parachutes but went technical, Rafale display

Almost about 15 local acft on static, + 1 TB30, 1 E121 Xingu, 1 C160R Transall + all "flying display acft"!!
So all in all, a good little national show!!

Once I get my log together I'll post it on here. In the meantime there was a Magister cockpit section at the show. PdF colours. Was told by one of the people with it that it was 46 but this is the complete one at St Dizier. Anyone shed any light on this?
