It were those day's I should have bin a lot more at school .

My school was a 3 storey high building in Oldenzaal with a view on the 24 approach of Twenthe. You can guess what happened when some nice planes were approaching and making a full stop................... .

The last shot of the K-4013 was taken during an (succesfull) emergency landing. A few minutes before it had a engine failure during take-off and had to drop 2 fueltanks into the forrests between Twenthe Airbase and the city of Hengelo.

Yep! I got in touch there with one of the WSOs and paid a visit to him at Heyford a few times afterwards!

I remember the spottingday at the mini Tiger Meet in '92. The high speed - low pass from a RAF Phantom over the flightline.
