Op de Geeresteinselaan in Woudenberg is vanmiddag een man ernstig gewond geraakt toen hij met zijn auto frontaal tegen een boom reed. Het ongeval gebeurde in een flauwe bocht van de Geerensteinselaan nabij de Ekris. De auto werd aangetroffen door ambulancemedewerkers die toevallig passeerde. Door het ongeval kwam de man bekneld te zitten achter het stuur. De brandweer heeft de man uit zijn benarde positie bevrijd. Een trauma-arts die met een helikopter werd gebracht heeft het ambulancepersoneel geassisteerd bij het stabiliseren van de man. Hij is met spoed naar het UMC in Utrecht gebracht.

The men is seriously injured and is brought by ambulance trough the hospital.

Disregarding the relationship between you and the driver. I request you won't post such information on an aviation board (neither on any other board). This is private information and it is up to driver if the information is going to be published here or not.

Whats your point , I cannot imagine that anyone here is interested in who shares relation with someone else who has been involved in an accident. To my opinion it is very unrespectfull to the victim, and adjecent to that, there is no clear link to your message and the fact that this is an aviation messageboard.

@Maarten and Boudewijn; apparently someone was interested in the drivers situation and I only replied to it. Shouldn't however have posted the (yet) part as I ofcourse won't share that information. It only was hopeful thinking of a good recovery.
