Runway Patterns this week

Post by YORKSHIRESI »

Hi Gents
Can anyone advise if there is a specific landing pattern this week at AMS.
I am interested if 06 is likely to be used for landings on Tues evening and/or Weds morn. Am back in the NL working, and staying in hotel near end of 06 , may warrant the camera being taken if that pattern is in play.

Thks for any info.

With the easterly winds it's very likely that runway 06 will be used for landings during the next days.

Actually, I read both answers as "Yes, 06 will most likely be used for landings this week". Nobody can say for sure of course, but 06 has been in use yesterday and is in use right now. If you want to keep track of the runways yourself: check the actual runway usage at http://www.lvnl.nl/nl/airtraffic

During inbound peak hours, runway 06 will most likely be joined by runway 36R for landing.

Times (in UTC) are as follows:
inbound * outbound
0600-0820 * 0820-1000
1000-1100 * 1100-1200
1200-1300 * 1300-1420
1420-1520 * 1520-1700
1700-1900 * 1900-2100
