Lost film at Yeovilton 1994

Post by Slijfie »

Were you at Yeovilton in June 1994 for the D-Day celebrations? Did you loose a slide film?

One day after visiting Yeovilton for the anniversary, on June 5th, I saw a slide film lying in the grass near another airbase. I took it home. Of course I had it developed, but then it got lost in a cabinet. After seeing photos of this event on the forum of FighterControl I decided to dig them up again and try to find the rightful owner.

If you think you are the artist, and can tell me where you might have lost the Fuji-film, I'll be happy to send you the slides.

Some photos of this film. I had to do some photo shopping:

I was there also on 4 june 1994. The weather was terrible..... but not so the following day, as this Youtube clip proves. Now that's a mass take off!

Wow, must have been a truly wonderful air-show. Just love that Aussie Aardvark.

Good stuff. The Photo Call had bad weather for the most part, although some 15 minutes of sunshine after we left. The Royal Navy let us back in to finish our work!
About the film; did you show these on UKAR already? There's a bigger chance the owner will be found at that forum.

Hans.

Hi Hans,
Yes I did post this on UKAR, but unfortunately no owner came forward.
@Elmer: thanks for posting the film!
