Several months ago, KLM and Transavia announced a closer cooperation with KLM codesharing on HV metal. This is now in operation on some routes giving KLM greater access to new leisure destinations:

- AMS dep. 06:55 - Alicante KL 2641 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines PH-HZN - operated by HV
- AMS dep, 07:35 - Malaga KL 2649 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines PH-XRY - operated by HV
- AMS dep. 16:35 - Malaga KL 2651 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines PH-XRW - operated by HV
- AMS dep. 11:50 - Pisa KL 2657 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines PH-HZJ - operated by HV
- AMS dep. 17:40 - Valencia KL 2659 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines PH-HSD - operated by HV

It seems that these codeshares only happen on routes where KLM does not operate itself.

CO070 -> UA070 EWR-AMS
CO071 -> UA071 AMS-EWR
CO058 -> UA058 IAH-AMS
CO059 -> UA059 AMS-IAH
CO124 -> UA124 IAD-AMS
CO125 -> UA125 AMS-IAD

UNITED on 30NOV11 received single operating certificate from the US Federal Aviation Administration, which allows it to operate flights as one entity, instead of operating separately as UNITED and Continental.

CX's action indicates that the route HKG-AMS-HKG is suffering strong competition ever since EK started flying to AMS, as AMS can no longer fill CX planes by itself.
Why is CXs desicison to extend AMS to CDG an indicator they can no longer support an AMS terminator flight and furthermore EK is to blame?

CX will offer 2 non-stop flights to CDG starting with the 2012 summer schedules and will again terminate at AMS opb B744. Based on this it could simply be a quick solution by CX to increase CDG service due to increased demand, without the need to allocate extra equipment. EKs operations at AMS certainly will have an influence on other carriers as they target similar markets. With regard to CX, EK also targets different markets (e.g. Africa, India and the Middle-East).

Yes it is a reduce in capacity, but isn't this also not due to the fact that the 747 will leave the fleet?
