Nice log but the NATO unit in Geilenkirchen is NATO Airborne Early Warning & Control Force and the "CT-49A" never exist, it´s symply a TCA or on Datablock B.707-329C/TCA.

Morning,

I might try and catch LX-N20199 before it will be retired. Does someone know if this B707 will be
present this weekend, or do I have a better chance on weekdays?

Thanks!

I understand her last, last ever flight will be around Monday the 5th of December to Maastricht Airport. :!:

Don't know if she is still flying operationally, there was some kind of "farewell photo-event" last Wednesday the 16th of November.

Thanks Stratofreighter!

Is LX-N20199 still present at GKE for the time being?

LX-N20199 is indeed still at Geilenkirchen.

Mind you, there is now some confusion whether this 707 TCA will be flown to Maastricht MST/EHBK on the 5th of December or somewhere around the 23rd of December...

Does anyone know why the MRTT's are stationed at Geilenkirchen at the moment? Is it perhaps to make some space at Köln Bonn for the conference Monday?

regards,

Michel
