Perusal of photos indicates that there are two Tornados marked as "43+00" (unless the Germans like repainting their aircraft backwards and forwards from grey to camo):

As can be seen, both are captioned as being 43+61.
Can anyone please confirm which is the real 43+61, and the identity of the second machine?
Thanks,
Andy Marden

Re: Tornado "43+00"
Thanks, that's a good start.
Anyone for the camo one?

Which is confirmed by one of the cockpit-pics in the link Andy mentions above (Cologne 18SEP2004), showing a callsign plate 43+61.spotter4life wrote:I can confirm the grey Tornado from 2007-2010 with the CN 4061 -> 43+61

Re: Tornado "43+00"
To make matters worse I pictured 43+00 during the ILA in 1984. That one was in green camo with JBG31-badge and in use as travelling exhibit bij "Unsere Luftwaffe". In my database I wrote c/n P11 and ex 98+01... (though I never read that off myself)
Re: Tornado "43+00"
"43+00" (1) is c/n P11 really 98+01 and is now in Messtetten, still in camo
"43+00" (2) is c/n 4061 really 43+61 and is a travel exhibit, in grey c/o

Re: Tornado "43+00"
This sounds familiar indeed, thanks! Is the first one at the Zollernalb Kaserne, maybe as an instructional aircraft? Not that I need it, but for completeness sake...
