There is no mention of any route changes to DOH-AMS-ORD-AMS-DOH, but it does say B777F flights to ORD increase. So......... instead of fewer,we may see more Qatar CARGO B777F.

AMS will loose 2 A300F flights per week, Wednesday and Saturday flights will not longer operate.
This means that QR cargo flights in AMS will reduce from 9 to 7 weekly flights.
The ORD ops will remain unchanged with DOH-AMS-ORD on days 3+6 and ORD-AMS-DOH on days 4+7.
On day 1 we will see the B777F on DOH-AMS-DOH and on days 2+5 the A300F.

KLM has made some final adjustments to its Winter timetable 2011/2012:

- CAIRO will continue to see B737 aircraft (was B777 last winter), but at new timings:

- AMS dep. 15:00 - arr. CAI 20:30 MS758 A320 daily
- AMS dep. 17:25 - arr. CAI 23:05 KL553 B737 daily - NEW dep. 4 hours earlier

- CAI dep. 01:05 - arr. AMS 05:10 KL554 B737 daily - NEW arr. 4 hours earlier
- CAI dep. 10:00 - arr. AMS 14:00 MS757 A320 daily

- TLV will also be operated by B737 this winter, so 2x B737 will be used for night operations to the Middle East.

- IAH - KLM has further reduced the frequency of the 2nd flight AMS-IAH KL667 to just 2x/week on Fri & Sun only. This flight replaces the 6x/week Privatair B737 service which is now operated with A330-200.

Any news on the earlier announced upgrade of GA switching from A330 to B77W and loosing DXB as stop?

As soon they get their ordered 777-300ER's. That won't be until the start of 2013.

The Boeing 777-300 which is planning to arrive late 2012 or early 2013 in Indonesia, has been delayed.
This is because the long queue of aircraft orders at Boeing plant, Seattle United States.

According to Garuda Indonesia Operations Director, Ari Sapari, in 2013 Garuda Indonesia is expecting delivery of two units of Boeing 777-300 ER from the total order of 10 units, will start operating.

KLM has postponed the launch of Amsterdam-Luanda until March 5 2012. Service was originally planned to start on November 14 2011.

Airlineroute.net reports ORD-AMS as a change compared to last year when B772s were used for a few months, but the B763 has been planned since the winter schedules were published earlier this year.


Other news:

B&H Airlines are dropping AMS with the conclusion of the summer season. Last flight is scheduled for 27OCT. No flights are currently scheduled for next summer.

Another airline ending AMS after summer 2011 is Cimber Sterling. Last flight is 29OCT with ATR42 and no flights are currently scheduled for next summer.
