Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Hello,

Thanks for the nice comments. I will try to put some civil a/c pics later although I have no clue if they are special.

BTW: Is spotting allowed there?
I do not know. At the terminal you are ok as long as there are no MP's.... Around the airfield I only stood very shortly at different spots.

Kim was very happy. Only a few days of spotting and the rest beaches and vulcanoes . When we left Bali yesterday there was a big ASIAN conference with ministers and presidents (the newspaper said). I didn't read anything (stayed @ the beach) but I saw a lot of a/c on the platform, the airport was only 3 km's  and now I regret I did not go.

I think he means that HE was taxying in an aircraft when the photo was taken !
thanks Robert ;-)

I would like to publish some bad quality pics of Surabaya (also in the hope to get some info);

Stored civil F.27's
Image

5 stored nomads, on the white one I read .03 (and a DHC.5 left of them, the 630). They are parked there for more then a year now (see GE). Serials unknown I guess.
Image

anyone for the a/c (SF.260's?) in the left site of the hangar and the Fa.50? in the right?
Image

The U-617 (and 616 behind it), U-625 and U-623.... (to be confirmed). Are the 616 and 617 the only brown and white coloured ones?

Aargh, now I'm even more bothered that I will not be travelling through Surabaya next week!
