Hello all,
This afternoon I made a dive in the water-filled quarry La Gombe near Esneux. One of the dive objects, besides large fishes, is a Thunderstreak. The aircraft is complete only the engine is missing. The registration is not noted, but the aircraft code can be seen. It is the following plane;
(FU74)/IS-E F-84F ex Belgian Air Force.
The aircraft is standing on his wheels, 15 meter deep. It is not possible to see the aircraft from outside the water.
On our way back we saw from the Highway A13 near exit 34, on a roundabout a Fouga Magister on a pole. It was;
MT30 CM170 ex Belgian Air Force.
Best regards,
Belgian W&R as diving object
