Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
And another KLM 737PG will leave commercial service. PH-BDW (737-400) will fly it's last commercial services on Sunday 18 September. Aircraft will be returned to lessor early November.
On the 19th of September the KLM fleet has left 5 active 737PG's:
733: BDO, BTD
734: BTA, BTB, BTG
Notes:
1) PH-BTF will fly AMS-NWI on 13 September. Will be stored in NWI. Aircraft is for sale.
2) PH-BDT is presently near Hg10 for lessor return activities. Redelivery before end of Sep11.
3) PH-BPB and PH-BPC are stored in NWI and will be scrapped during the next few months.
Regards,
Roel

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
PH-BGU will be delivered at the end of September and PH-BGW and PH-BGX will be delivered in October, so that will be 3 aircraft. Does that mean a decrease of capicity, from 5 to 3 aircraft?
Besides the above written, the 737-700 has less seats than the 737-400, so that is also a decrease.

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
I think you have an error in your math. KLM also has some B737-800 still on order, so the idea they go from 5 to 3 doesn't exactly hold.

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
But the 5 PG 737's will leave the fleet at the end of October en the first 737-800 will come in April 2013 (see below standing just updated KLM itranet overview August 2011) so I still miss two 737's from October 2011 till april 2013.
737-800
On order 24 PH-tbd1 42148 Apr 2013 CFM56-7B24 57C 114M

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
Well, in October the winter season starts again, which is usually a slower period in which less capacity is needed. Then you have Summer 2012 which compared to 2011 might have more or less the same capacity due to the fact some KLM planes were used for Transavia this summer. If they don't use them in 2012 capacity remains the same. Then you have winter season again and before summer 2013 the rest of the -800s will be delivered.

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
Clear! Hoping that Transavia will lease the aircraft from another company during summer 2012!
