Abandoned airfields:RAFG Bruggen
During the late 80-ties,early 90-ties I made several base visits to RAFG Bruggen. Those visits were all very different. I remember sitting inside a building listing to the station commander expaining how the Bruggen-wing operates, while outside the Tornado's took off..... and one time I was placed on a spot toward the sun..... but most of the visits were great and very intersting.
I like to thank all the RAF-personal end AGL members who made these visits possible.

Nice ones Henk! I remember that day on which you shot the grey Tornados. Must have been 20 July 2000. Also present on that day were the below:

Re: Abandoned airfields:RAFG Bruggen
Bruggen approach, always tricky. You have to listen for jet sound and than somewhere from behind the tries .....?

Re: Abandoned airfields:RAFG Bruggen
Hi,
Ten years ago, RAF Tornado G4s left RAF Bruggen. Here some additional pics of this great RAFG-air station.
VC-10 K4 ZA144/E from 101sq had a small issue, the local fire brigade did a small inspection, July 2000.
Usual sighting at the eastern last change point, two Tornado GR4s wait for clearance, ZA591/DJ from 31sq and ZA557/AC from 9sq, July 2000
Tornado GR4 ZD707/BU from 14sq in it's old camouflage scheme pulled over the taxi track,July 1999
Regards,
Maurits
