This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Berlin (TXL/EDDT) - 25-6-2011 B787, Mongolian 767 & more
The Dreamliner is doing a little tour of Europe after the Paris Air Show, including Warsaw and Berlin-Tegel (plus test flights at the new Brandenburg International Airport, which opens in June 2012). Took a flight to watch this beauty. Spent a couple of hours at the spotters terrace as well. Enjoy!
#1 N787BA as seen from the spotters terrace.
#2 Lots of media attention, as seen from the other side.
#3 Is it possible to fall in love with an aircraft? I think so!
#4 Just grabbed my camera in time for this one.
#5 Massive yet elegant GEnX engines.
#6 She’s just a piece of art!
#7 SAS CRJ900.
#8 Bulgarian Air Charter MD-82.
#9 Nice surprise: Mongolian 767-300!
#10 Qatar Airways A320.
#11 EuroLOT ATR72.
#12 airBaltic Q400.
#13 Germania A319
#14 Royal Jordanian A320.
#15 Enjoy ‘em while you still can: Blue1 RJ85.
#16 Good old KLM.
#17 Just in case a 707 or 1-11 comes by…

It looks like a complicated way to say "Fokker 70" (F100 ShorT ?)Benjamin wrote:What would be an F100ST ?
Nice set from an airport that does not feature often in this forum!

Nice pictures, I like the Mongolian 767 but the pictures of the Dreamliner are also perfect.

Suspect it is F100 Subtype.
The stopping position depends on the main door postion of an aircraft.
On the F70 and the F100 these are the same.

What goes up..........Must come down for maintenance

Little correction: the engines are Rolls Royce Trent 100 of course, not GEnx

F100ST is especially for Germania F100s. ST is the two-lettercode for Germania!
