Just east of the city Enschede in the Netherlands was a forestfire.
Firefighters called in the airforce for assistance, the DHC send a CH-47D from Gilze-Rijen with a bambi bucket!
The fire is still not under controle, I think the CH-47D will leave soon. Maybe she will be back tomorrow....

They take the water from the Rutbekerplas.
It's the sandpit along the Haaksbergerstraat.

I read on the Internet, that the KLU will be arround with a Helicopter untill arround 20:00 local. and the firedepartments will pull back arround 22:00 because of bad light and dangerous area's and hard winds. I believe they start again towmorrow morning around 5:00 local. Don't know what time the KLU will be pressent again, but the chances are big they will be as the fires are still not under control.
