EWAS reports some more details:

Dit betreft de voor Chili bestemde, maar tijdens de aflevering op Gando gestrande J-627. Die zou na reparatie terugkomen op 6 mei. Omdat Volkel die dag gesloten is, zou hij op Eindhoven landen. Maar dit gaat niet door, want de reparatie is nog niet gelukt. Men hoopt hem nu hij dinsdag terug te kunnen vliegen, maar dan zal hij wel op Volkel landen.

C-17A 080002/02 landed at 1720LT as 'Bartok 73'. It parked (surprisingly) next to Il-76TD RA-76846 at apron West.

No, it left yesterday at 1900LT.
I was surprised how little noise it makes when standing in line with the exhausts at about 600 meters distance. It used only half the runway.

It was my first to visit since the Hercules disaster.
