SF 260 near Kortenberg / Schoonaarde, Belgium
Ran into an SF260 next to the Brusselsesteenweg in Schoonaarde in Belgium (in front of Boels Verhuur, also visible at Google Earth, 50.53.37.56N - 4.35.38.65E), painted bright orange and canopy replaced by a bended wooden sheet. Anyone a clue which one this is?

Bright orange would seem to suggest a former Italian one (here's hoping.... ).
I presume it had no markings? The c/n plate should be right under the left hand stabiliser.

Bright orange as in some person that wanted to accentuate Boel's Verhuur house colors I'm afraid.....
Here she is (and behold, to my best knowledge this is an SF260 but please correct me if I'm wrong);

Looks more like a Rallye 880 to me?

Just had a look at google maps (not the highest resolution there...) and just maybe Arjan is right... still, it's so close to EBBR, that's a short detour coming up next time I'm around there... Thanx for pointing it out!
edit: that was before the picture was posted. This definitely IS (or rather, WAS) a Morane Saulnier Rallye of some subtype. Still worth the visit though if you're into old stuff.

well, in the case it indeed is a ralley: I'm currently working out of EBBR so if you can tell me where to look for a construction number, then I should be able to look for it shortly....

Good evening,
Looks like the:
(OO-JNH) MS883 Rally 115 c/n 1555.
Location is officially aways quoted as being Erps-Kwerps.
The airframe was written off 16-08-86 at Molensted, f/n in Erps-Kwerps late 80's.
regards,
Remco

Both Erps Kwerps and Schoonaarde are part of the township of Kortenberg, officially as per bounderies she would be in Schoonaarde but that's just a minor detail. Thanks for the info, guess I should polish up my knowledge of civil propcratesBuccaneer S.2B wrote:Good evening,
