At 11:05u lt i heard some fighters overfly my home at high level (Winschoten, nort-east part of province Groningen). I ran outside and saw 4 contrails heading from north to south at a very high level, I guess FL 350 or higher.
Maybe the fighters ar switched to an Maastricht UAC freq, i did'nt hear them again.

Hi,
according to the belgian news 6 F-16's wil depart this monday (21 march) to the south to help the allied forces.
I wonder what the dutch will sent? If they sent F-16's no airworthy F-16 will be left in Holland as already eleven F-16's moved to Alaska. Maybe some tanker assistance? Or some Attack helicopters like the Apache?
If these operations will take al long time I think many planned execrcises (like NTM, Frisian Flag, TDPU) and airschows will be cancelled due to operational commitments. Hope it will end soon.
Grtz,
Edward.

I read somewhere (can't recall if it was here or another forum) that the callsigns used when departing Spangdahlem were among others 'Warhawk' making these 480 FS birds. But expect birds to be pooled into one large package thereby bypassing normal squadron OPS.

According to Danish Media the Danish Vipers flew over Libya for 5 hours, afterwards they returned to their airbase at Sicily. No information was given if they dropped any bombs.

Big chance they won't go public with that if they had taken part.Yespur wrote:So no F22's used..?
