Hello community !
as travelling far from South Germany and not beeing so often at BENELUX I will have a free day for spotting next sunday. I love freighters and think a lot if BRU, Liege, LUX or OST will be my choice. Mhhh, difficult ! I will have also Monday morning off and meeting at Antwerp at monday afternoon.
How is Liege on an average Sunday ?????? BRU at Sunday ????
Thank you for any idea
greetings
Jens

Re: REQ. Spotting advice...where to Go ???????????
Hello again,
does anybody plan to be at Liege next Sunday ???? That would be great. A high ledder is needed to get some pics of parked TNT - aircraft, right ? I don´t know Liege airport yet. The yellow DC-8 which was there regular in the past is history
or still flying ???
greetings

"Freighterwise" it isn't an easy choise between the four airports, because the four of them got their own bunch of regulars
and frequent visitors. At LUX and LGE you can expect a bit more freighter-traffic.
A serious ladder is always handy at any airport nowadays, and you really need one for the TNT tarmac ( a double high fence ).
At Liege and Luxemburg there are good spots both ends of the runway, just ask the locals. ( At Liege the 'hill' at the eastend ).
The 'yellow' DC-8-63F is Airlift and is not a regular anymore for some time now.
Don't forget Hahn Airport, CAN be interesting as well. Maybe BRU is nice for the monday morning.
Any 'special' visitor can drop in unexpected at all four of them, that is hard to tell. ( Check the sites )

Dear Condor, according to your logo (Flying Tigers) you also have a passion for freighters. I saw the Flying Tigers
DC-8´s and 747´s regularely at ZRH years ago.
So my choice is Liege on Sunday and BRU on Monday morning. As I go for business I can not bring a huge ledder
this time. Will anybody be at LGG next Sunday who has a ledder ? I would love to get some pics from the parked
TNT fleet. That would be wonderful and at least a snack in return is granted.
Greetings
Jens (I´m the one who has shown the pics from Tenerife and Bangkok lately)
