I am planning to see the arrival of AK KC-135's next monday the 31st.
Can somenone please give me the best location to get a picture of the landing aircraft, weather forecast says it will be an eastern wind with a force of 3. So not very spectacular, but i was wondering what the best place is to stand ?
Duth or German side ? hope to hear from you experts.

ETNG/GKE sunday 07-02-2011

This evening at 19.45h we noted the following at the ramps: 4 E-3A's and 2 CT-49's, will try to identify them later on from picture.
The 2 Alaska tankers where there as well and they are:

59-1521 KC-135R 168ARS/AK ANG

Cheers,

Hey Emil,

I can't help you with Norvenich but I know that Geilenkirchen start flying at 08.00hrs sharp.
Be there at 08.00hrs and you will see a few big ones go take off!!

From the german side from the field you have a good view at the action and you can see the tankers!!

Have fun

One aircraft left for Trapani this morning, I believe as 'NATO46'.
