Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Great Pics everybody!
By the way, Reinold, the pilot of the J-642 still needs a map to fly? Or is he reading some illustrated magazine known for its interviews?

Hello
Nice pics are taken there, but can some one tell me more about the patches on the Belgian F-16 FA-116. It looks like that they use panels from another F-16.

A quote from EWAS:Arthur Bijster wrote:can some one tell me more about the patches on the Belgian F-16 FA-116. It looks like that they use panels from another F-16.
January 19, 2011 - Some might have spotted a different painting on one of the KB F-16s. Stickers were applied on the FA-116 to test whether they were strong enough so that 349 sqn will be able to use the same type on a new squadron jet. The unveiling of the special viper will happen during the TDPU exercise in September of 2011.

Stephan

Must be the illustrated magazine; he is a local (and EHEH spotter) so it can't be a mapPiet Luijken wrote:the pilot of the J-642 still needs a map to fly? Or is he reading some illustrated magazine known for its interviews?
