Las Bajadas (Veracruz) (MMVR/VER) - 2011 MIL

Post by Flanker27 »

Hi everyone and feliz ano nuevo,
As I went to the first city of Latin America, on touchdown and takeoff some days later I could see the AEW fleet of the Marina of Mexico.
E-2s in semi open hangar are: AMP-100, AMP-101, AMP-102, as well as some Antonovs, AS565, Mi-8s and some unidentifiable.
The E-2s are based there so maybe the mod can change that in the Order of Battle.
Soon I will be back with a pic report and hopefully some more numbers (not to be identified from the cameradisplay).
Near the airbase is a Dakota on display as well.

Greetz,

Michel

As a matter of fact, the E-2s are retired for over 4 years now.

They have been active in Mexican service for less than three years, due to problems to obtain with spareparts for their old radars.

Hence, I don't think the Orbat will be changed...
